01General terms

  1. All participants must read carefully and understand the participant notes, race rules and these terms and conditions.
  2. By submitting a registration, participants agree to observe and accept all existing event terms, conditions and arrangements, including any later arrangements introduced by the organiser.
  3. Participants must hold a valid bib to enter the route, carnival booths, photo-taking areas and activity zones designated by the organiser.

02Registration instructions

  1. Participants must ensure that all information submitted in the registration form is true, accurate and complete. The organiser reserves the right to refuse or disqualify any person who provides incorrect information, false information or fails to follow the correct registration procedure. No refund or compensation will be made.
  2. Participants are responsible for completing payment through the designated channel within the specified time. Failure to complete payment by the deadline will be deemed as withdrawal from the event.
  3. Participants must ensure that they are physically fit and able to participate in the event. The organiser reserves the right to refuse or disqualify any person known or suspected to be unfit to participate.
  4. Participation in the event is voluntary and at each participant's own risk, including risks arising during participation and travel to and from the event venue.
  5. Participants must be aged 16 or above. Participants under 18 years old must obtain permission from a parent or guardian.
  6. For safety reasons, children aged 3 or below are not suitable to participate in the event, and the organiser reserves the right to reject such registration.
  7. Once registration is accepted, all entry fees, duplicate registrations, add-on merchandise handling fees or other submitted fees are non-refundable, non-returnable, non-transferable and cannot be cancelled.
  8. The organiser reserves the right to change the registration deadline or close registration at any time without prior notice. No on-site registration will be accepted on event day.

03Race bib, runner pack and finisher rewards

  1. All participants must collect their race bib, runner pack and related items at the designated date, time and venue. The organiser reserves the right not to distribute uncollected items after the designated collection period without prior notice.
  2. Successful registration is subject to completed payment and receipt of a confirmation email. If participants do not receive the confirmation email within 3 days after submission, please call +852 6228 3233 or email info@tngchk.com.
  3. Finisher medals and e-certificates will be awarded to participants who complete the event within the designated time.
  4. Participants who fail to complete the event, fail to start at the designated time or fail to meet the completion requirements will not be entitled to an e-certificate or finisher medal.

04Change of registration information

  1. Participants who need to change registration information must email info@tngchk.com. The organiser may charge an administration fee of HK$50 for each change.
  2. Event T-shirt and sock sizes must be selected during registration. After payment, the organiser will not accept any request to change T-shirt or sock size under any circumstances.

05Race and on-site rules

  1. The organiser has purchased public liability insurance for the event. Such insurance is not equivalent to personal accident insurance. Participants should assess whether to purchase personal insurance according to their own needs.
  2. One-off free luggage deposit service will be provided on event day for participants, limited to one item per person. Participants must collect their luggage within 2 hours after completing their registered category. The luggage deposit area is expected to close at 4:00 pm, subject to final on-site arrangement.
  3. Participants should not bring or deposit valuables. The organiser accepts no responsibility and will make no compensation for any loss or damage of property.
  4. All race routes, carnival booths, photo-taking areas and activity zones are only accessible to participants with valid race bibs. The organiser has the right to request anyone to leave these areas.
  5. Except for staff and authorised personnel, no person may stay, take photos or watch at the start area, race route or finish area in order to protect participant and on-site safety.
  6. Unless approved by the organiser, pets and any form of wheel-run objects are prohibited on the route, including but not limited to bicycles, skates, push carts and shoes with built-in rollers.
  7. The organiser may change the route before or during the event due to actual road conditions or emergency situations without prior notice. The organiser may suspend the race if emergency vehicles need to use the route or if other emergencies occur.
  8. Participants must follow the instructions of on-site staff, medical staff, race director, security staff or law enforcement officers. Participants must immediately withdraw from the race or leave the venue if requested.
  9. Participants who fail to complete the event within the designated time must leave the route safely as instructed by event staff. The organiser reserves the final decision on any dispute regarding awards, rankings, finishing time or race rules.
  10. Participants shall reasonably indemnify the organiser for any additional expenses caused by intentional damage, fault, conduct or breach of rules during the event.
  11. The organiser reserves the right to disqualify any person and nullify their result due to violation of event rules. No refund will be made in the case of disqualification.
  12. The organiser, contractors, employees and volunteers will not be responsible for any accident or injury suffered by participants or spectators on event day.

06Use of personal data and event records

  1. The organiser and its authorised service providers may use any photographs, videos and other event records for lawful purposes, including event publicity and promotion.
  2. The organiser and its authorised service providers may use participant information for announcement of results, registration administration, registration confirmation, payment notices, receipt issuance, event communications and contact records.
  3. The organiser may use relevant information to prevent and detect fraud or misuse, identify users or participants, provide updates on Running Aces Event Limited events, and for other legitimate purposes required, authorised or permitted by law.
  4. For the above purposes, personal data provided during registration may be disclosed to relevant organisations or service providers.
  5. The organiser will not lease, exchange or sell personally identifiable information voluntarily provided by participants, including email addresses and contact numbers.

07Event cancellation and refund policy

  1. If Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above is hoisted at or after 6:00 pm on the day before the event, 27 March 2027, the event will be cancelled.
  2. If Typhoon Signal No. 3 or above, Amber / Red / Black Rainstorm Warning, Thunderstorm Warning or Landslip Warning is hoisted two hours before the first start on event day, 28 March 2027, the event will be cancelled.
  3. If adverse weather or any of the above warnings occur after the event has started, the race director has the right to change the event flow, shorten the route, suspend or cancel the ongoing event.
  4. Participants are advised to check the race-day weather with the Hong Kong Observatory by phone at 1878200 or at www.hko.gov.hk, and to follow the latest updates from the event's official channels.
  5. If the event is stopped after it has started, there will be no rescheduling and all fees will not be refunded.
  6. The organiser reserves the right to cancel or shorten the event due to adverse weather, landslides, rock falls, hill fires, protests, route closure or blockage, or any force majeure event.
  7. Force majeure includes but is not limited to acts of God, war, hostilities, invasion, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, riot, commotion, strikes, go-slows, lockouts or disorder, disease outbreak, and acts or threats of terrorism.
  8. In such circumstances, the organiser will not refund any paid fees to participants.
